I’m sure that all of us that use Gmail have noticed the sponsored links on the right handside of the screen when browsing the our mail on gmail.com. However, what I had never noticed was the appearance of a "Related Pages" section bellow the sponsored links. It also displays context sensitive links, but not to paid ads. Instead, it displays links to news related with the content of your email (or sort of related ). In my case, I was reading an email writen in portuguese and the "Related Pages" entries were links to news in two portuguese newspapers. 

This feature is not announced on the Gmail What’s New page, so I’m not sure for how long it has been there but today it was the first time I noticed it.
