Search keywords
Following up on Pedro’s post about some curious search keywords that led to his site, here is the list of the most common keywords that led to my blog during March:
- segredovodafone - the fact that I was one of the first people to post about this marketing flop (yes, a flop. It was a good idea but very poorly executed.) form vodafone listed my website on the first search results on google and yahoo.
- joost – I’ve recently become a joost beta tester and wrote a follow up on the service when the server was down.
- joomla - I have two articles about some small joomla hacks for using captchas to avoid spam and to give users permission to publish their content.
- beta - I usually try some beta services and tend to blog about them, so I guess at the end it sums up to a few articles that make it to the search results.
- eclipse - I only have one article about eclipse, but it is my fourth most common search keyword.
As for the curious search keywords, I don’t really have them. Probably because my blog is in english and there are better positioned sites for every possible keyword. The only strange keyword I have is “assuntos 5 a 8 serei”. But I do admin a website in portuguese, about my village, that used to have lots of strange keywords but over the last month about 90% of the keywords are related with the site content.

Vitor,
Obrigado por teres respondido ao desafio. Brevemente vou colocar um post a agradecer a todos os que tiveram a gentileza de, tal como tu, publicar os termos de pesquisa mais recorrentes.
Entretanto, posso cravar-te um link para o meu post? Obrigado.
