Smoggy TO
Snow covered in winter, smog covered in summer. This is Toronto.
If you are an outdoor person, Toronto is not the city for you. In winter, people are advised to stay at home due to extreme cold. In Summer, people are advised to stay at home due to extreme heat, smog and high UV radiation (levels 10+ sometimes).
Still, most of people still thinks that the few weeks of Spring and Fall are of such extreme beauty that are worth the cold and heat during the rest of the year.

Come on Vitor. it’s not that bad.
Walking downtown from Casa Loma, i didn’t get that drastic impression. Besides, it has several parks (Moore, High Park).
Sure it’s not Montreal or Quebec city, or even Aveiro or Viana but i guess you’re just homesick

I’m not homesick… I just don’t like Toronto’s weather. I’m sure you didn’t see any smoggy day in Toronto. Imagine that you are on the bottom of the CN tower and you just can’t see the top because of smog. Yes, that happens and I have experienced it already
And then, there is the “before” factor… I moved from one of places with best weather (calif.) to a place with very rough weather on both winter and summer.
