Just the other day Paulo was telling how much he likes Amazon and how good Amazon‘s customer service is. I also agree that Amazon is a great shop, with good prices and very fast shipments. BUT, not all Amazon websites/shops are the same. I’m a frequent user of Amazon.com and the service is excellent. However, when it comes to the neigbour country, where online shops are not mainstream, Amazon.ca provides just an average service. If the first time I used them the shipment time was reasonable (less than 5 days to ship), this time is way bellow reasonable. I placed an order on November 7th and the expected delivery date is from Dec 13 to Jan 2. This is not good service. The funny thing is that I was going to place the order with some other non-amazon shops at amazon.ca but then, because the total price was the same (books were cheaper on non-amazon stores but shipment was more expensive) I decided to stay with amazon, because their service tends to be good.

If it wasn’t for the customs hassle, it would be more convenient and fast to order the items at Amazon.com, not to talk about the huge number of titles not available at Amazon.ca.
