I have been running Yahoo Ads and Google Adense on my blog pages for over several months now. Although I am yet to make a few cents on advertising, the reason why I keep the ads running is that I do plan to write a detailed comparison of both tools sometime in the future. Google beats all of its competitors in context search and advertising, but in my opinion Yahoo is so behind only by self responsibility. From several constructive comments I’ve made on their YPN Blog, the answers, if any, were vague and the problems persisted, with completely out of context ads.
But today I found something really fun while browsing trough one of my articles, “The World is Flat“:
Food for thought:
- being Friedman’s book such an actual and popular topic, how can Yahoo not find any more relevant ads to publish in this page?
- Google paying for ads in the Yahoo network? This one makes even less sense

After Digg had to deal with its users response to deleted entries from the system regarding the HD-DVD cracking key, not it is the time for Flickr to deal with a similar issue.
The summary: Rebecca found out that some of her work was being sold without her authorization and posted it on Flickr. Later, Flickr staff deleted her post and all the associated comments, and now the community is striking back, creating even more discussion topics about it. As an update, the “thieves” claimed that they were fooled to and didn’t know they were selling copyrighted work.

Yes, just add a new sitemap and point it to your feed.
I don’t need my WordPress Google Sitemaps plugin anymore, since through the RSS feed, google can index all the new posts. Regarding site indexing tools, Yahoo! provides the Yahoo! Site Explorer, that accetps RSS/Atom feeds to index your website.
